3. GUN 004-007; Passenger Oxygen System Servicing (Cylinder Replacement) (Fig. 303, Fig. 304)
________________________________________________________
NOTE: This procedure is used when an unserviceable oxygen cylinder is
____
replaced. Normal servicing is by the external fill method.
A. General
(1)
The passenger oxygen cylinders are found in the aft cargo compartment.
(2)
For cylinders with less than 5 psig (34.5 kPa) you must replace the cylinder with one that is fully serviceable. Cylinders with less than 5 psig (34.5 kPa) usually contain too much fluid. Use this procedure to replace the unserviceable oxygen cylinder.
(3)
Read and obey the Passenger Oxygen System - Maintenance Practices before you do the servicing (AMM 35-21-00/201).
B. Equipment
(1)
Caps and Plugs - Clean, Packaged (for oxygen
ports and open lines)
(2)
Oxygen Cylinders - Fully Charged and Serviceable
(3)
Spanner Wrench - Commercially Available
