A. If the test gives the maintenance message:
DMC1: PROGRAM PIN
or
DMC1: POSITION PIN
R - do a check for ground signals at DMC1 (1WT1) connector AB (Ref. AWM 31-R 61-28).
(1) If the wiring is incorrect:
- repair the wiring.
(2) If the wiring is correct:
- replace the DMC-1 (1WT1) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-400-001).

A. If the test gives the maintenance message DMC1 : RECONF WIRING and there is no CAPT PFD image:
- replace the PFD-CAPT (2WT1) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check of the wiring from CAPT PFD (2WT1) pins AA/35, 36 to DMC1 (1WT1) pins AB/9B, 9C (Ref. ASM 31-61/04).
(a) If there is no continuity:
- repair the wiring.
(b) If there is continuity:
- do a check and repair the wiring from CAPT PFD (2WT1) pins AA/38, 39 to DMC1 (1WT1) pins AB/9D, 9E (Ref. ASM 31-61/04).

B. If the test gives the maintenance message DMC1 : RECONF WIRING and there is no CAPT ND image:
- replace the ND-CAPT (3WT1) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check of the wiring from CAPT ND (3WT1) pins AA/35, 36 to DMC1 (1WT1) pins AB/10B, 10C (Ref. ASM 31-61/04).
(a) If there is no continuity:
- repair the wiring.
(b) If there is continuity:
- do a check and repair the wiring from CAPT ND (3WT1) pins AA/38, 39 to DMC1 (1WT1) pins AB/10D, 10E (Ref. ASM 31-61/04).
