Do the EIS input test (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-740-002).
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message: DMC1: ENG2 EGT DSPLY ERR - on the ECAM control panel (6WT) set the UPPER DISPLAY potentiometer to
OFF
- do the test given in Para. 3.
(1) If this test gives the maintenance message:
DMC1: ENG2 EGT DSPLY ERR
- replace the DMC-1 (1WT1) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check of the wiring from DMC1 (1WT1) pins AB/11B, 11C to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 31-61/04).
1 If there is no continuity:
_ - repair the wiring.

2_ If there is continuity:
- do a check and repair the wiring from DMC1 (1WT1) pins
AB/11D, 11E to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 31-61/04).
(2) If this test gives no maintenance message:
- replace the DU-ECAM, UPPER (4WT1) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check of the wiring from upper ECAM DU (4WT1) pins AA/35, 36 to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 31-61/04).
1 If there is no continuity:
_ - repair the wiring.
2 If there is continuity:
_
- do a check and repair the wiring from upper ECAM DU (4WT1) pins AA/38, 39 to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 31-61/04).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

- replace the DMC-1 (1WT1) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-400-001).
