A. Job Set-up
(1) Do the EIS start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
- Set the selector switch EIS DMC-SEL SW (18WT) on F/O 3 position
4. Fault Isolation

A. Make sure that:
- the INVALID DATA message is shown on the FO PFD DU and on the FO ND DU
- the ECAM warning EIS DMC 3 FAULT is shown on the upper ECAM display
(1) Replace the DMC-3 (1WT3) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-400-001).
(2) If the fault continues:
- Make sure that there is 115VAC on the pin AC-2 of the DMC3(1WT3)
(a) If there is no 115VAC at pin AC-2:
- check and repair the wiring from the DMC3(1WT3) pin AC-2 to the pin A2 switching relay - DMC3 (26WT)

Aug 01/05 CES 1 if there is continuity:
_
- make sure there is 115VAC on the pins A1 and A3 of the relay SWTG-DM3 (26WT) (Ref. ASM 31-62/01) . if there is no 115VAC on the pin A1 of the relay
- check and repair the wiring from the switching relay-DMC3 (26WT) pin A1 to the EIS DMC3 STBY/SPLY circuit breaker (14WT1) . . if there is no continuity from the relay 26WT to the C/B 14WT1:
- replace the EIS/DMC3/STBY/SPLY (14WT1) (Ref. ASM 31-61/02) . if there is no 115VAC on the pin A3 of the relay
- check and repair the wiring from the switching relay-DMC3 (26WT) pin A3 to the EIS DMC3/SPLY circuit breaker (10WT3) . . if there is no continuity from the relay 26WT to the C/B 10WT3:
- replace the EIS/DMC3/SPLY (10WT3) (Ref. ASM 31-61/02) . if there is 115VAC on pins A1 and A3 of the switching relay-DMC3 (26WT):
- replace the RELAY-BUS1 TO ESS BUS SWTG, DMC3 (26WT) (Ref. ASM 31-61/02)
(b) If there is 115VAC at pin AC-2 of the DMC3:
- Make sure that there is a ground signal at pin AC-7 of the DMC3(1WT3)
1 if there is no ground signal:
_
- repair the wiring from the DMC3 (1WT3) pin AC-7 to the ground terminal (Ref. ASM 31-62/01).
B. Do the EIS stop procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
Loss of the ARINC 629 link from the CAPT DU's to the DMC3
