B. Test
(1) Do the BITE test of the FLSS (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-00-740-001).
(2) Examine the FLSS STATUS Page.
(3) If the message 284634 FLSCU1(2) 7QJ(9QJ):
(a) Is not shown, maintenance steps are not necessary.
(b) Is shown, go to Para. 4. If the message is followed by a sensor message or sensor messages, do this Task before troubleshooting the sensor(s).
NOTE : You can get data from the:
____
- Description and Operation (D and O) section of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) Chap. 28-46-00, the Fuel Level Sensing System (FLSS)
- Trouble Shooting Manual (TSM) - Task Supporting Data (Ref. P. Block 301)
- Aircraft Schematic Manual (ASM) (Ref. ASM 28-46/01) (Ref. ASM 28-46/02) (Ref. ASM 28-46/03) and (Ref. ASM 28-46/04).
NOTE : You can get more Trouble-shooting data from the
____
CFDS(FUEL):
- Input Parameters Page 3 (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-00-740-003)
- FLSCU Trouble-shooting Data (Ref. P. Block 301).
NOTE : OPTIONAL TESTING:
____ Where a PSD A320-3 Fuel Level Sensing System Test Set is available, all of the tank-mounted FLSS components can be tested, and the FLSCU relay outputs simulated. Access to the system is gained by removing the FLSCU (one of two) and installing the PSD A320-3.

A. Procedure
(1) If the two FLSCUs are shown:
- replace FLSCU-1 (7QJ) and FLSCU-2 (9QJ), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-34-400-001).
(2) If one FLSCU only is shown:
(a) Swap FLSCUs, (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-34-400-001).
(b) Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
(3) If the message changes sides:
- replace the FLSCU-1(2) 7QJ(9QJ) that shows the message, (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-46-34-400-001).
(4) If the fault continues, and the MCDU shows the original message:
- temporarily replace the FQIC (3QT) with a serviceable item (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-34-400-001).
(5) If the message FLSCU-1(2) 7QJ(9QJ) is not shown:
- complete the installation of the FQIC (3QT), (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-42-34-400-001).
