 NOTE : The values for an ultracomp and a dualcomp with a full tank are given
____ as an aid only. The values given are nominal and variations can be expected with fuel of different permittivities.
 OPTIONAL TESTING
 Independent measurements can be made before a decision is made to enter (or close up) a fuel tank if the following Test Equipment is available:
 - Simmonds DC Capacitance Tester PSD 30-2 (A test set for measuring DC capacitance. The test set to have been calibrated for the A321 type aircraft)

 - Simmonds Test Set PSD A321-1 (An interface in the form of a junction/switch box between the PSD 30/2 and the aircraft connected test cable)

 - Simmonds Cable Set PSDA321-100 (A set of test cables for connecting between the PSD A321-1 and the required tank wall connector to enable the tank units only to be checked)

 - Simmonds FQS Interface Unit PSDA321-3 (An adaptor and cable that permits the PSDA321-1 to be connected to the FQIC rack connector after the removal of the FQIC. This enables the tank units and the aircraft wiring to be checked).


 NOTE : A tolerance of + or - 0.03pF plus the tolerance of the DC Capacitance
____ Tester is recommened. This is over and above the values shown in the table below. This gives an allowance for non-laboratory conditions, different operators, and the accuracy of the Test Set used.
