R (3) LRU IDENTIFICATION R This menu option shows the part number of the FQIC. R R FQIC CH1 B539AAM XXYY * R R FQIC CH2 B539AAM XXYY R R * Where: R XX = computer hardware standard R YY = software standard R R The part numbers shown must be the part numbers of the FQIC and OBRM R which are currently installed in the aircraft. R R The aircraft tail number, date, and time are also shown.
R (4) CLASS 3 FAULTS R This option shows the Class 3 faults (up to a maximum of 63 flight R legs) known to the FQIC. Each LRU is identified by the same R parameters as those on the PREVIOUS LEGS REPORT. R Trouble-shooting data can be accessed by use of the line function key R to the right of the ATA number of the LRU.
R (5) Not applicable.
R (6) FQIS STATUS R This option gives access to a list which is produced of every FQIS R LRU detected as being currently failed. All failure classes are R reported. R R Each page includes the current aircraft tail number, the date, and R the time GMT/UTC. The time shown is the time at which the page was R selected. R Trouble-shooting data can be accessed by use of the line function key R to the right of the ATA number of the LRU. R R A number to show each channels health is given alongside the page R title in brackets, FQIS STATUS (GRADES=A:B). A is the grade of R channel 1, and B is the grade of channel 2.

R The grades that can occur are:
R GRADE 1 = Normal Fuel Grade
R GRADE 3 = Degraded Fuel Grade
R GRADE 4 = Failed Fuel Grade.
R The grade number is decoded as follows:
R
R ----------------------------------------------------------------------------R | GRADE | System Operational Effect |
R |-------|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
R | 1 | Normal Fuel Grade. (Accuracy better than 3 times the specified |
R | | accuracy). |
R | | Normal or satisfactory operation. |
R | | In this grade the FQIS can be fully serviceable or contain up to |
R | | 20 probe failures (excluding double probe failures). |
R | | The FQIS will also continue in this grade if one source of fuel |
R | | permittivity is available. |
