R (d) Make sure that the connectors (1) and (9) are clean and in the
R correct condition.
R (e) Put the seal (3) in its housing (2).
R (f) Connect the connector (1).
R (g) Push the connector (1) into the fuselage.
R (h) Put the angle of attack sensor (5) in position with the stud (4)
R and hold it.
R (i) Tighten the screw (6).
R NOTE : During installation, the screw (6) must be inserted in the____
R only c-sink hole of the AOA sensor (5).As the other holes
R have no c-sink, mounting the screw (6) in one of them may
R create non-flush surface. illustration.
R (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 34-11-19-991-002)
R (j) Install and hold the blanking plate (7).
R NOTE : The AOA blanking plate (7) is manufactured with a radius____
R that corresponds to the fuselage curve. The rotation of
R this plate around the AOA sensor may also create non-flush
R surface.
R The blanking plate (7) contains 8 attaching holes. Out of
R these 8 holes, 7 have a c-sink, 1 has not. Whilst mounting
R the blanking plate (7), it must be ensured that the only
R hole without the c-sink is aligned with the screw (6).
R Make sure that the drain hole is at 6 O'clock position.
R NOTE : The 7 remaining screws (8) must all be inserted in each of____
R the 7 c-sink holes of the blanking plate (7).
R NOTE : Carefully install plate so as not to cause damage to the____
R sensor (5).
R (k) Tighten the seven screws (8).
R (l) Check the bonding contact resistance between the AOA Sensor (7)
R and the fuselage struture (2) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-720-005).
R (m) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) on the screw (6) head and
R around the blanking plate (7).
