R Subtask 34-11-19-420-050
R A. Installation of the Angle of Attack Sensor (3FP1, 3FP2, 3FP3)
R (1) Angle of Attack Sensor without drain hole.
R R NOTE : The procedure is the same for angle of attack sensors 3FP1,____ 3FP2 and 3FP3.
R (a) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
R R (b) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
R (c) Remove the blanking caps from the connectors (1) and (9).
R R (d) Make sure that the connectors (1) and (9) are clean and in the correct condition.
R (e) Put the seal (3) in its housing (2).
R (f) Connect the connector (1).
R (g) Push the connector (1) into the fuselage.
R (h) Put the angle of attack sensor (5) in position with the stud (4)
R and hold it.
R (i) Tighten the screw (6).
R NOTE : During installation, the screw (6) must be inserted in the____
R only c-sink hole of the AOA sensor (5).As the other holes
R have no c-sink, mounting the screw (6) in one of them may
R create non-flush surface.
R (j) Install and hold the blanking plate (7).
R NOTE : The AOA blanking plate (7) is manufactured with a radius____
R that corresponds to the fuselage curve.The rotation of
R this plate around the AOA sensor may also create non-flush
