A Type II message displayed in the scratchpad is suppressed if data are entered. The message is redisplayed when the scratchpad becomes empty.

A Type II message generated while data or a Type I message are occupying the scratchpad is displayed only when the scratchpad becomes empty.
If a Type II message is cleared while it is occupying the scratchpad, then the next one in the queue is displayed.
(5) Clearing messages
-Any message that is displayed can be cleared by pressing the CLR key.
-Type I messages are automatically cleared under the following
conditions: . When data are entered into the scratchpad, or . When line select or mode key is pressed.
-Certain Type II messages are automatically cleared from the queue when they no longer apply.
