Remove the fairing for the inboard flap track (AMM 27-51-32/401).

Open the ground spoilers if more access is necessary.
D. Remove the Support Beam (Fig. 401)

(1) Remove the stabilizer beam.
(a) 737-300 AND 737-500; Remove the eyebolt which connects the stabilizer beam to the attach fitting on the support beam.
NOTE: Do not interchange the forward and aft bolts of the
____ stabilizer beam. Interchange of the bolts can cause a misfair of the wing door.
(b)
Move the stabilizer beam down.
(c)
Remove the fasteners from the fitting assembly of the stabilizer beam.
(d)
Remove the fitting assembly from the support beam.
(e)
Make a note of the location of the shims.

(2) Remove the walking beam.
(a)
Remove the bolts which attach the fitting assembly on the hanger walking beam to the support beam.
(b)
Remove the support fitting.
(c)
Make a note of the location of the shims.
(d)
Remove the section of the lower wing skin which is attached to the beam.
(e)
Disconnect the spoiler braces.
(f)
Remove the skin section.

Remove the two ground spoiler actuators from the aft side of the support beam (Ref 27-62-71/401).
(4)
Disconnect the necessary hydraulic tubes from the support beam.
(5)
Make a note of the locations of the tubes.
(6)
Disconnect the necessary electrical wires from the support beam.
(7)
Make a note of the location of the wires.
