ADD 69-63589-9 WASHER IF NECESSARY. BEFORE INSTALLATION OF 69-63589-9 WASHER, 0.020 INCH (0.508 mm) MAXIMUM CLEARANCE BETWEN BUSHING FACES. AFTER INSTALLATION OF 69-63589-9 WASHER, THE COMBINED TOTAL CLEARANCE MUST BE NO GREATER THAN 0.020 INCH (0.508 mm).

1. General_______
A. There is one task in this procedure, an inspection of the landing gear support beam (referred to as the support beam). To do the inspection, you measure the inner and outer diameters of the bolts and bushings which attach the support beam.

Do this task: "Landing Gear Support Beam Removal"
(Ref 57-15-00/401).

Examine the bolts and the bushings which attach the support beam for worn areas:
(a) Measure the diameters of the bolts and the bushings.
NOTE: Use a micrometer or a vernier caliper.

(b)
Compare the dimensions you measured, with the permitted dimensions shown in Fig. 601.
(c)
Replace the parts which are out of the tolerance.
