 (j)  Sand the bonded plastic surface with finer grits of moist or dry abrasive papers to get the necessary finish.
 NOTE:____ The abrasive papers that you can use are (280, 320, 400 and 600).
 (k)  Wind the abrasive papers around a rubber blocks that have durometer indication of 35 |5, the shore A scale.
 NOTE:____ You also can wind the abrasive papers around the block that have a cotton-flannel.
 (l)  Cover the surface with water while you sand the surface.
 NOTE:____ Be careful not to cause too much heat while you sand the area.
 (m)  Hold the area that you sanded to a minimum necessary area until you get a satisfactory repair.
 NOTE:____ It is necessary to make the area that is adjacent to the smooth repaired area look smooth.

 NOTE:____ You can make the spacers when you remove all the muslin discs. Use the scissors to decrease half of them to the half initial diameter.

Apply a thin, smooth film of the wax with a clean cotton-flannel pad.

Rub lightly with a circular movement until the area is glossy.
