 (1)  Drill a hole in the wing tip navigation light window at all fastener locations (Fig. 401).
 NOTE:____Use a drill speed of 1200 to 1500 RPM. Cutters should be kept at a near room temperature when drilling successive holes.

Do this task: "Faying Surface Seal Application" (AMM 51-31-00/201).

Install the aft fairing.

 (a)  
Put the aft fairing in its position on the closure rib.

 (b)  
Install the fasteners to attach the aft fairing to the closure rib.

 (c)  
Install the wires into the wire tube for the tail light in the aft fairing.

 (d)  
Attach the navigation light bracket to the rib on the aft fairing.

 (e)  
Install the white steady position (navigation) lights.

 (3)  Install the middle fairing.
 (a)  
Put the middle fairing in its position on the closure rib and the splice.

 (b)  
Install the fasteners.

Do this task: "Steady Position (Navigation) Lights Test" (AMM 33-43-00/501).

 (b)  
Do this task: "Logo Lights Test" if installed
 (AMM 33-49-00/201).

Do this task: "Wingtip Strobe Position Lights Test", if installed (AMM 33-45-11/201).
