Lubricate the threads of the fasteners with compound, BMS 3-28.

Install bolts with a fastener tool and an installation anti cam-out (ACR) driver bit.
NOTE: Use decreased lubricated fastener torques, (AMM 20-50-11/201).
NOTE: A combination removal/installation ACR bit is not recommended. The bit should have a hardness of 56-58 RC.

WARNING:_______MAKE SURE THAT EACH PANEL IS INSTALLED CORRECTLY. IF FASTENERS ARE NOT TIGHT ENOUGH OR IF TOO MANY ARE MISSING FROM THE ACCESS PANEL, PANEL LOSS MAY OCCUR. THIS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT.
(2) Make sure that the leading edge access panels meet the following guidelines:
(a)
One fastener can be missing from a panel if the panel has six to twelve fasteners to keep the panel on the airplane.
(b)
Two fasteners can be missing from a panel if the panel has more than twelve fasteners to keep the panel on the airplane. 1) The two missing fasteners must not be adjacent to each
other.

BOOST PUMP ACCESS DOOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is the removal of the access door for the boost pump. The second task is the installation of the access door for the boost pump.
B. The access doors for the boost pump lock with clamp latches. The latches have indicators with a groove to show that the latch is locked.
