(1) To help you find the applicable leading edge panel, see AMM 12-31-61/201.

CAUTION: WHEN REMOVING PANEL FASTENERS, MAKE SURE THAT THE DRIVER BIT IS
_______ IN LINE WITH A FASTENER. THIS WILL PREVENT DRIVER BIT WOBBLE WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FASTENER RECESSES AND THREADS.
(2) The following can help remove the bolts from the access panels:
(a)
A leverage adapter, B20004-21,
(b)
A removal anti cam-out ribbed (ACR) bit,
NOTE: The bit should have a hardness of 56-58 RC.

NOTE: A combination removal/installation ACR bit is not
____
recommended.
CAUTION: ONLY APPLY FASTENER REMOVAL COMPOUND DIRECTLY TO THE BIT
_______ IF NEEDED. CLEAN THE BIT AFTER EACH USE. DO NOT APPLY FASTENER REMOVAL COMPOUND TO THE FASTENER RECESSES, HOLES, OR THREADS. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FASTENERS.
(c) Apply a fastener removal compound on the driver bit if a fastener is difficult to remove.

_______ LINE WITH A FASTENER. THIS WILL PREVENT DRIVER BIT WOBBLE WHICH CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FASTENER RECESSES AND THREADS.
(2) The following can help install the bolts:
NOTE: These suggestions are to make sure that the bolts can be removed freely later and are not damaged when you install them.
(a) Use an access panel leverage adapter, B20004-21 to install the bolts.

(b)
Make sure that the fasteners have correct grip length, undamaged threads, and undamaged recesses.
NOTE: If any fasteners need to be replaced, it is recommended that K-coated titanium bolts with cadmium plated Cres nut-plates be installed where applicable.
(c)
Remove any excess paint or debris on fastener recesses.
