Upgrade Application
Upgrade FODM application is possible.
Upgrade from FODM 2.X.0 to FODM 2.X.Y and from 2.X.Y to 2.X.Y+1.
Installing a new FODM version over an existing version will check the differences of already installed packages
and will upgrade only the necessary items.
I.e. In order to switch from FODM 5.0 to FODM 5.2, un-installation and installation for the new version is necessary.
Upgrading FODM server.
Airline IT should obey the company
policy for software upgrade.
Two versions of FODM server can
live on the same computer. The new
version can be installed for test
purposes and once it’s validated, the
old version can be archived, data
exported and new version set in
production.

Clients will be automatically upgraded
using Java Web Start functionality.

Uninstall Application
To uninstall FODM distributed, launch: Start > Programs > Airbus > FODM-server > Uninstall
This will start the uninstaller program
1. Stop the FODM and Database server.
2. Uninstall FODM program. (This will delete the services and delete the files).
You can also uninstall
FODM Service alone.

Uninstall Application
Once the uninstall has been performed, you can close this window.
Warning: uninstallation does not remove Apache program and published documents.
It remove the logs files of the server, not of the clients.
Tick this box to force
the deletion of <FODM
path> . It will delete the
directory.
The database is located
on this directory and
will be erased.
Click on Uninstall

LPC Browser General Presentation
The LPC Browser (formerly FOCT) has been renamed in the frame of
the convergence of the electronic documentation for all Airbus Aircraft
programs
It is a viewer that permits to consult Flight Operations manuals (FCOM,
FCTM, MMEL, CDL, WBM, CCOM, AFM).
This tool has been developed according
to following drivers:
No flight crew paper documentation on board
Ease management in terms of update and
revisions
Ease retrieval of information
Common way to access flight ops documentation
To provide an avionic contextual access to
information
Full integration with other operational applications.
