Remove electrical power from the airplane (AMM 24-22-00/201).

_______ THE REFUELING ADAPTER. IF YOU DRAIN THE REFUELING ADAPTER BEFORE 90 MINUTES, PRESSURIZED FUEL CAN CAUSE AN INJURY OR A FUEL LEAK.

Drain the remaining fuel from the refueling adapter.
(a)
Put a container (2 gallon, 7.57 liter) below the refueling adapter to catch the fuel.
(b)
Push the poppet valve installed in the refueling adapter in slowly.
(c)
Let the fuel drain from the refueling adapter and the refueling manifold.
