AMES MATERIAL SERVICES, INC. ORGANIZATION
1. President
A. The President of AMES Material Services, Inc. is responsible for the general management and direction of the business and other officers of the Corporation, and possesses all powers ordinarily incident thereto.
2. Material Sales Director
A. The Material Sales Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day affairs of AMES Material Services, Inc. Material Sales.
3. Material Services Supervisor
A. The AMES Material Services, Inc. Supervisor supervises the day-to-day functions of the AMES Material Services Department. The AMES Material Services, Inc. Supervisor reports directly to the Material Sales Director. The AMES Material Services, Inc. Supervisor supervises the organization, physical storage, and control of all surplus and consignment aircraft parts by specific ATA system codes. The AMES Material Services, Inc. Representatives, AMES Material Services Inc. Storekeeper, AMES Material Services, Inc. Assistant, and AMES Material Services, Inc. Part-Time Store Clerk report directly to the AMES Material Services, Inc. Supervisor.
4. Written Agreement
A. AMES Material Services, Inc. has a written agreement with AMES, Inc. that AMES, Inc. Quality Assurance and Training will be responsible for the management of the AMES Material Services, Inc. Quality Control/ASA 100 Certification Program.
5. Quality Control Manager
A. The Manager of Quality Control reports to the President of AMES, Inc. and is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
(1)
Provides leadership and direction for all Storekeepers and is also responsible for the delegation of responsibilities to approved Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services Inspection Supervisors and Receiving Inspectors.
(2)
Administers the Shipping/Receiving Inspection function ensuring compliance with AMES Material Services, Inc. Quality Control procedures.
(3)
When and if needed, monitors the calibration of all aircraft maintenance precision tools, measuring devices, and test equipment, and maintains a record of calibration due dates.
(4)
Communicates trends, concerns or suggestions to the Supervisor of Material Services.
(5)
Ensures that all training requirements are met.
(6)
Provides assistance and guidance to AMES Material Services, Inc. departments and personnel in the proper tracking and documentation of components.
(7)
Coordinates with AMES Material Services, Inc. departments in the development of processes and procedures to assure accurate documentation.
6. Storekeeper
A. Provide prompt part support for Material Services Representatives and AMES Material Services, Inc. Supervisor. Provide a comprehensive training program for all AMES Material Services, Inc. personnel, responsible for inventory control of consignments and AMES Material Services, Inc. AMES Material Services, Inc. Storekeepers receive parts and material into the AS400 system, ship material sold by AMES Material Services, Inc. Reps, and relieve inventory when material is sold or transferred to another department.
