(1) Remove the wheel fairing: S Remove 6 screws attaching the left half of the fairing to the right half. S Remove the 3 left and 3 right attaching screws. S Remove the fairing.
(2) Use weights to hold the rear fuselage down with the nose wheel clear of the ground. Use a strap around the rear fuselage.
(3) Put a padded trestle under the fuselage just aft of the nose gear mounting.
(4) Remove the axle bolt: S Remove the cotter pin from the axle nut. S Remove the axle nut and washer. S Remove the axle bolt and washer.
(5) Remove the wheel from the fork.

C. Install the Nose Wheel

(1) Put the wheel in position in the fork.
(2) Install the axle bolt: S Install the washer onto the axle bolt. S Push the axle bolt into position through the axle. S Install a second washer onto the axle bolt. S Install the axle nut hand tight only! S Slowly rotate the wheel while tightening the axle nut, hand tight only! S Turn the axle nut counter-clockwise until the next cotter pin hole aligns with the axle nut. S Install the cotter pin. Put Mastinox 6856K corrosion inhibitor or LPS-3 on the shank of the bolt. Clean corrosion inhibitor from the threads. To settle the tapered wheel bearing.
(3) Turn the nose wheel. Make sure that the valve cap does not touch the fork. Clearance 2 mm (0.08 in) minimum.
(4) Remove the trestle from the front fuselage.
(5) Lower the nose wheel to the ground. Remove the weights from the rear fuselage.
(6) Install the wheel fairing: S Put the 2 halves in position. S Install the 3 LH and 3 RH mounting screws. S Install the 6 screws which hold the fairing halves together.

A. Remove a Brake Master Cylinder

WARNING: DO NOT GET BRAKE FLUID ON YOU. BRAKE FLUID CAN CAUSE DISEASE. CAUTION: CLEAN UP SPILT BRAKE FLUID IMMEDIATELY. BRAKE FLUID CAN DAMAGE PAINT AND OTHER MATERIAL.
(1) Disconnect the brake pipe(s) from the brake master cylinder. Catch the brake fluid. Put caps on all connections. Refer to Figure 3.
(2) Remove the top pivot pin. S Remove the cotter pin. S Remove the washer. S Remove the pivot pin.
(3) Release the bottom pivot pin. S Remove the cotter pin. S Remove the washer. S Move the master cylinder sideways off the pivot pin.
(4) Lift the master cylinder from the rudder pedal assembly.
