%) ENGINE An amber caution light shows when any indication on an engine instrument

% alternator operates the ALTERNATOR caution message.

%) ECU A An amber caution light shows when the ECU A fails. The engine control system
% changes to the ECU B automatically.

%) ECU B An amber caution light shows when the ECU B fails.

%) FUEL TRANS
% A white status light shows when the fuel transfer pump is ON.

% or when there is a failure of the Pitot heating system.
%
% Prolonged operation of the Pitot heating on the ground can also cause the Pitot
% heating caution message to show. This happens when the thermal switch
% operates. (The switch prevents overheating of the Pitot heating system on the
% ground). This is a normal function of the system. After a cooling period, the
% heating system will come on again automatically.
