(3) Warning, Caution and Status Lights
) OIL PRESS Red warning light indicating low oil pressure. An oil pressure transducer installed in the engine accessory housing activates the oil pressure warning message when the oil pressure is less than 25 psi.
) FUEL PRESS Red warning light indicating low fuel pressure. A fuel pressure transducer installed in the fuel line between the engine driven fuel pump and the injector activates the fuel pressure warning message when the fuel pressure is less than 14 psi.

) LOW FUEL Amber caution light indicating low fuel level in the left or right fuel tank. Fuel level switches in each fuel tank activate the low fuel caution message.
As soon as the amount of usable fuel in one tank is less than 3 US gal (±1 US gal), a caution message is displayed in the usual manner (momentary aural alert, flashing CAUTION light, flashing LOW FUEL caution light). Termination of the message is also done as usual ('acknowledge', CAUTION light is extinguished, LOW FUEL caution light changes to solid illumination).
As soon as the amount of usable fuel in the second tank is also less than 3 US gal (±1 US gal), a caution message is displayed in a different manner. A continuous aural alert is sounded in the airplane's intercomm system, the amber CAUTION light is flashed, and the amber LOW FUEL caution light is flashed.
By pressing the 'acknowledge' button, which is now illuminated green, the aural alert will be terminated, and the CAUTION light will be extinguished. The LOW FUEL caution light will continue to be flashed.
) START  Red warning light indicating that the starter solenoid is energized. The warning light receives an electrical current from the starter side of the starter solenoid. The starter warning message is displayed when the connection between the starter motor and the engine has not been broken. This occurs when the pinion of the starter motor remains engaged with the propeller flywheel.
The warning light is illuminated continuously as long as the starter is being operated. In this case the WARNING light and the aural alert will not be activated.
) PITOT  Amber caution light indicating that the Pitot heating system is OFF. The caution light receives an electrical current from the heater side of the Pitot heat relay. The Pitot heating caution message is displayed when the Pitot heating is not switched ON, or when there is a failure of the Pitot heating system. Prolonged operation of the Pitot heating on the ground can also cause the Pitot heating caution message to be displayed. In this case it indicates the activation of the thermal switch, which prevents overheating of the Pitot heating system on the ground. This is a normal function of the system. After a cooling period, the heating system will be switched on again automatically.

) ALTERNATOR Red warning light indicating alternator failure. The alternator warning message is activated by the voltage regulator.
) LOW VOLTS Amber caution light indicating low voltage at main bus. The low voltage caution message is displayed when the voltage falls below 24 volts. It is terminated when the voltage exceeds 25 volts.
) DOORS Red warning light indicating the canopy/door is unlocked. Micro-switches connected in series activate the doors warning message when either the door or canopy is unlocked.
) IGNITION This light is only used when the LASAR ignition system is installed.
