With the door closed, push down on the center of the door to make sure the latch and the striker.

Carefully open the door. Tighten the bolts that attach the actuator chassis to the sidewall of the overhead stowage bin.
C. Procedure - Install the Hinge Quadrant (Fig. 201)

Install the bolt at the hinge point.

Connect the actuator to the hinge quadrant.

Align the holes in the door with slots in the hinge quadrant. Install the screws.

Close the door. Make sure the door aligns correctly with the latch.

Open the door. Make sure the door is clear of the latch.

Tighten the screws after the door is aligned correctly.

To remove the horizontal trim strip, push the horizontal trim strip up and pull the bottom of the horizontal out first.

Remove the bracket on each end of the torque tube.
