(9) S 424-034Install the new disk fastener on the stud. Do not compress the blanket too much. Use stainless steel clips in place of the screw together pins for attaching insulation blankets to the frames.

DOORWAY LINING - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains these tasks.
(1)
The first task is the procedure to remove the left No. 1 doorway lining. The second task is the procedure to install the left No. 1 doorway lining.
(2)
The third task is the procedure to remove the right No. 1 doorway lining. The fourth task is the procedure to install the right No. 1 doorway lining.
(3)
The fifth task is the procedure to remove the No. 2 doorway lining. The sixth task is the procedure to install the No. 2 doorway lining.
(4)
The seventh task is the procedure to remove the No. 4 doorway lining. The eighth task is the procedure to install the No. 4 doorway lining.
B. In this procedure, the No. 1 doorway lining, the No. 2 doorway lining, and the No. 4 doorway lining are referred to as the doorway lining.
NOTE: On airplanes with Overwing Emergency Escape Hatch electric surface
____ heaters, care must be taken when removing the hatch doorway lining. The electric surface heaters are attached to the outboard surface of the trim, threshold, and center panel which are around the overwing exits.

Open the left No. 1 passenger door.
(2)
Remove the acoustic seal from the doorway.
(3)
Remove the screws which are behind the acoustic seal.
(4)
Remove the trim strips (View A-A, Fig. 401).
(5)
Disconnect the service outlet.
