Lavatory Fluorescent Lights
___________________________
 A.  The lavatory lights are two fluorescent lights mounted at the ceiling.
 115 volts ac is applied through circuit breakers on the P414 panel.Lavatory Lights Ballast

 A.  The lavatory fluorescent lamp ballast is a solid state device, capable of beint dimmed. 115 volts ac is applied continously to the ballast. Ballast operation is controlled by the electrical state of a pair of control line inputs.
 B.  When DIM/BRT continuity is maintained through the RETURN TO SEAT relay and the GROUND HANDLING BUS relay, the lights will remain dim.
 C.  When this line is opened by either of the relays, the lights will remain
 bright, regardless of the door locked switch position.Lavatory Door Lock

 A.  The lavatory door limit swich is located in the lavatory door frame behind the door bolt striker plate.

 B.  The limit switch is normally operated by closing the lavatory door and setting the door lock bolt to LOCK position. One set of contacts operates the DIM/BRT circuit of the ballast. The other set operates the FLT DK LAV OCC light.
 C.  The limit switch may be operated manually when the door is open by depressing the striker plate.
 6.  Lavatory Information Sign Switch

 A.  General
 (1)  The LOCK DOOR and RETURN TO SEAT signs are symbolic displays on a graphic strip. The strip is ulluminated from the back by a light assembly of two rows of light emitting diodes (LEDs).
 B.  The LOCK DOOR sign is installed behind the graphic retainer at the bottom of the dispenser cabinet.
 C.  The RETURN TO SEAT sign is installed behind the graphic strip retainer at the bottom of the lavatory mirror.
 7.  Lavatory Call Switches

 A.  The call pushbutton switches near the counter sink will become
 illuminated with a symbolic display when actuated.

 B.  The lavatory call light and reset switch above the door resets the call when actuated.
