Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Do these steps to do the operational test:
(a)
At the control stand, P8, set the switch for the NO SMOKING signs to the on position. 1) Make sure you hear a chime sound in the passenger
compartment. 2) Make sure the NO SMOKING signs come on.
(b)
Set the switch to the off position. 1) Make sure the NO SMOKING signs go off.
(c)
Set the switch for the FASTEN SEAT BELT signs to the on position. 1) Make sure you hear a chime sound in the passenger
compartment.
