A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Put the wheel chocks in position.
(2)
Put the safety barriers in position.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the landing gear or the landing gear doors.
NOTE : To put the landing gear back to the normal mode (after a
____ free-fall extension refer to (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-860-003).

Subtask 32-00-00-481-052
A. Installation of the Safety Devices
(1) To Install the Safety Devices (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001) (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-002):
(a) Install a SAFETY PIN - NLG DOOR (98D32203502000) in the linkage of each forward NLG door.
R (b) Install the GROUND SAFETY LOCK (D23080000) in the lockstay of the NLG.
(c)
Install a GROUND LOCK SLEEVE (460005835) on the actuating cylinder of each MLG door.
(d)
Install a GROUND LOCK SLEEVE (460005833) or a GROUNDLOCK SLEEVE (460007280) on the lock stay actuating cylinder of each MLG.
(2) If necessary, depressurise the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-001).

B. Inspection of the Main Landing Gear Door Ramps
(1) Inspect the lateral and central door ramp on each MLG door. Make sure that there is no sign of:
-damage/wear to the surface of each ramp
-corrosion on the surface of each ramp.
NOTE : Replace each door ramp that shows signs of damage/corrosion

WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING_______ GEAR.
1. Reason for the Job__________________
R R R To prevent damage to the anti-ice heat elements: - when the LGCIU 1/2 circuit breakers are open or - when the A/C is lifted on jacks. To isolate other circuits to prevent flight configuration when you do maintenance tasks on the A/C.
R R R R NOTE : Do this task only if electrical power is necessary for subsequent____ maintenance tasks. If electrical power is not necessary, do the Flight Configuration Precautions without Electrical Power procedure (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-860-00101).
