B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Energize the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) (Ref. TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(3)
Make sure that the aircraft is in ground condition (landing gear compressed).
(4)
Make sure that the INT/RAD selector switches of the Audio Control Panels (ACPs) are in the center position.
(5)
On the captain jack panel, connect the first of the two 600 ohms boomsets to the related connector.

4. Procedure

A. Operational Test of the Service Interphone

1. In the cockpit, on the captains Audio Control Panel (ACP) 2RN1:
R R - push the CAB pushbutton switch.
- push the CAB rotary switch and turn it fully clockwise.
2. In the FWD electronics compartment:
R R - connect the second boomset to the maintenance interphone jack 1RJ.
In the cockpit, on the captains ACP2RN1:

the green integral light of the CAB pushbutton switch comes on.

the integral light of the CAB rotaryswitch comes on.
In the cabin, at all AttendantIndication Panels (AIP) 320RH:

the SERVICE INTERPHONE IN USE message comes on.(lower row)
NOTE : With some service interphone boomsets, it is necessary to key the

3. In the cockpit, on the captains ACP 2RN1:
- set and hold the INT/RAD selector switch in the RAD position.
- speak into the cockpit boomset and the boomset in the FWD electronics compartment.
R R R NOTE : You must hold the INT/RAD____ selector switch in the RAD position when you speak into the cockpit boomset.

-make sure that no 400Hz interference is heard.
