 On one of the ACPs, push the RESET pushbutton switch and release it.

The frequency set comes into view inthe ACTIVE display window.

The green bars on the VHF1 (VHF2,VHF3) transmission pushbutton switch come on.

-
The reception pushbutton switch movesfully out and comes on.


-On each ACP, the amber CALL legend ofthe VHF1 (VHF2, VHF3) transmission pushbutton switch flashes.
 -You can hear the buzzer.
-On all ACPs, the amber CALL legend ofthe VHF1 (VHF2, VHF3) transmissionpushbutton switch goes off.
 -The buzzer stops.

5. On the RMP1:

 -Push the HF1 pushbutton switch
-In the STBY/CRS display window, with the dual selector knob, set the frequency that the ground station can use in HF.
 -Start this frequency. To do this, push the transfer pushbutton switch (double arrow) between the two display windows.
 6. On the CAPT ACP:
 -
Push the HF1 transmission
pushbutton switch.


-
Push and release the VHF1
(VHF2, VHF3) reception
pushbutton switch.


-
Push and release the HF1 reception pushbutton switch.

-
Push the PTT switch of the CAPT sidestick controller.


The SEL indicator light (white LED)
 comes on.
 On the RMP1:

 -
The green LED on the VHF1 pushbutton switch goes off.

 -
The green LED on the HF1 pushbutton switch comes on.

-
The frequency set comes into view, inthe ACTIVE display window.

-
The green bars on the VHF1 (VHF2,VHF3) transmission pushbutton switch go off.

 -
The green bars on the HF1 transmission pushbutton switch come on.


-This pushbutton switch moves in (tothe initial position) and theannunciator light goes off.
-The reception pusbutton switch movesfully out and comes on.
-During the tuning (which continuesfor approximately 5 seconds), the reception stops and you can hear a signal of 1000 Hz in the boomset.
