When N and EGT amber crosses have disappeared:
APU START pb-sw................................................................................................................. ON
FLAP OPEN indication appears on APU SD page.
On APU SD page, N and EGT rise.
When N = 95 %
On APU SD page, ‐ AVAIL indication appears.
‐ On APU panel : START ON light goes out.
APU AVAIL light comes on.
10 s later:
DOOR/OXY SD page replaces APU SD page.

* EXT PWR (if ON)...........................................................................................................AS RQRD
External power may be kept on to reduce APU load, especially in hot condition.
Applicable to:
APU START
APU MASTER SW pb-sw ............................................................................................................ON
APU ON light comes on.
APU SD page appears on ECAM.
Note: If batteries only are supplying, press the APU pb on the ECAM control panel during the
start sequence (to permit the ECAM upper display to display the APU SD page).

When N = 95 %
‐ On APU SD page, AVAIL indication appears.

Note: Bleed pressure up to 12 PSI, with possible fluctuations, can be observed on the APU
SD page and BLEED SD page in cold weather conditions (below approx. 10 °C)
