‐ After landing, operate the engine at idle for3 min before shutdown in order to thermally stabilize
the hot section of the engine. This 3 min period includes operational time at idle (e.g. taxiing).
‐ If APU is not available, set EXT PWR pb to ON, then set the ENG MASTER to OFF
‐ Check that engine parameters decrease.
‐ The DOOR/OXY SD page is displayed on the lower ECAM display.

ENG 1 MASTER sw and ENG 2 MASTER sw...............................................................................OFF
‐ It is desirable to run the engine for 1 min at low power before shutdown (taxiing time may be
credited).
‐ If APU is not available, set EXT PWR pb to ON, then set the ENG MASTER to OFF
‐ Check that engine parameters decrease.
‐ The DOOR/OXY SD page is displayed on the lower ECAM display.

Drift Check:
‐ Call up the POSITION MONITOR page. Check that the drift does not exceed the following:
Residual ground speed check:
‐ Access the IRS page via the IRS MONITOR page:
• If the ground speed is above 15 kt: Report (The excessive deviation must be confirmed after two
consecutive flights).
• If the ground speed is above 21 kt: Report (The IRU must be removed).
Note: On aircraft equipped with LITTON IRS, the ground speed check must be performed
within the 2 min following aircraft stop. (Ground speed reset to 0 after 2 min).

Check that the sum of the Fuel On Board and the Fuel Used is consistent with the Fuel On Board at
departure. If an unusual discrepancy is found, maintenance action is due.

If MAINTENANCE status messages are displayed,Refer to 99 Duref Cible MEL

BRAKE FAN  ............................................................................................................................ OFF
Switch off, when not required.

PARKING BRAKE..................................................................................................................AS RQRD
If one brake temperature is above 300 °C (or above 150 °C with brake fan  ON), the parking
brake should be released after the chocks are in place.
Releasing the parking brake prevents the critical structures from being exposed to high temperature
