thrust may reduce oil temperature.
In addition, a rise in oil temperature could be related to the
IDG oil cooling system. To reduce oil temperature rise before
limits are reached, the following are recommended:
1. Low Speed - Increase engine speed to increase fuel flow
and thereby cool IDG oil.
2. High Speed - Reduce generator load or turn off generator.
If oil temperature continues to rise, mechanically
disconnect IDG.
OIL QTY < 1.8 qt If oil quantity low at high power setting, expect level increase
after power reduction.
NAC TEMP > 240 °C Monitor engine parameters and cross check with other
engine.
ENG
VIBRATION
N1 ≥ 5.7 units
N2 ≥ 5.6 units
Refer to PRO-ABN-70 HIGH ENGINE VIBRATION
OIL QTY < 4 US Qts If oil quantity low at high power setting, expect level increase
after power reduction.
NAC TEMP > 260 °C Monitor engine parameters and crosscheck with other
ENG VIBRATION engine.
N1 ≥ 3.3 units
N2 ≥ 2.6 units
N3 ≥ 4.0 units

USE OF THE FOLLOWING TABLES
Applicable to: ALL
USE OF THE LDG DIST FACTORS
Use the LDG DIST factors “WITHOUT REV” when:
All ‐ reversers are inoperative, or
‐ Maximum reverse thrust on available reverser(s) is not selected, or
‐ The aircraft has been dispatched with one or more reverser(s) inoperative.
Use the LDG DIST factors “WITH REV" when at least one reverser is operative and maximum
reverse thrust is selected at landing.
Applicable to: ALL
LDG CONF/APPR SPD/LDG DIST COMPUTATION FOR A SINGLE FAILURE
Determine the Flaps Lever Position for landing to be selected
Compute the VAPP: VAPP = VREF + Δ VREF + APPR COR
‐ Determine the Δ VREF
‐ Determine the APPRoach CORrection (Refer to 99 Duref Cible QRH)
Compute the LDG DIST:
‐ Determine the LDG DIST factor. Multiply it by the additional factor, if any (Refer to QRH/ABN-80
VAPP Calculation in the case of an ABNORMAL/EMERGENCY Configuration)
‐ Multiply the obtained LDG DIST factor by the ACTUAL LANDING DISTANCE WITHOUT
AUTOBRAKE - CONFIGURATION FULL - without reversers correction (Refer to QRH/FPE-IFL
Landing Distance Without AUTOBRAKE - CONF FULL)
Applicable to:
LDG CONF / APPR SPD / LDG DIST COMPUTATION FOR MULTIPLE FAILURES
Only combine PRIMARY or SINGLE failures
Determine the Flaps Lever Position for landing to be selected:
‐ Use the lowest Flaps Lever Position for landing (i.e. if FULL and 3, use 3)
Compute the VAPP: VAPP = VREF + Δ VREF + APPR COR
‐ Use the highest Δ VREF to compute VAPP
‐ Determine the APPRoach CORrection (Refer to QRH/ABN-80 VAPP Calculation in the case of
an ABNORMAL/EMERGENCY Configuration)

Compute the LDG DIST:
Determine the applicable LDG DIST factors in the same ‐ column (“WITH REV.” or “WITHOUT
REV.”)
‐ Multiply the applicable LDG DIST factors together, unless all values are marked with an asterisk
(*). If all values are marked with an asterisk, use the highest LDG DIST factor. Multiply it
by the additional factor, if any (Refer to QRH/ABN-80 VAPP Calculation in the case of an
ABNORMAL/EMERGENCY Configuration)
‐ Multiply the obtained LDG DIST factor by the ACTUAL LANDING DISTANCE WITHOUT

Examples applicable to Dry runways / A/THR ON / No wind / WITHOUT REV:
GW = 200 t/VREF = 141 kt. Therefore VAPP = 141 + 5 + 5 = 151 kt.
HYPOTHESIS OF COMPUTATION: Δ VREF/LDG DIST FACTORS
The Δ VREF values take into account the necessary corrections due to:
‐ The failure, including SECONDARY(s) failures (as per ECAM definition)
‐ The required Flaps Lever Position for landing
The LDG DIST factors take into account:
‐ An approach speed at VREF + Δ VREF
‐ The SECONDARY(s) failures, including inoperative reverser(s) if any
