Make sure that these circuit breakers on the P11 panel are closed:

11J30, EICAS LOWER IND or EICAS LOWER DISPLAY

11J31, EICAS DISPLAY SW
(f)
11J32, EICAS PILOTS DSP or EICAS DISPLAY SELECT

Turn the COMPUTER switch on the EICAS DISPLAY select panel to the L or R position as applicable.

Make sure that the top display shows the primary engine page and the bottom display shows the secondary engine page.

(9) If the message LEFT CMPTR FAIL or RIGHT CMPTR FAIL shows, do the steps that follow: (a) Make a record of all EICAS TEST page codes that are not zero. (b) Push and hold the ERASE switch on the EICAS MAINT panel. (c) Make sure that the message KEY ERASE shows. (d) Release the ERASE switch. (e) Push and hold the ERASE switch again. (f) At 3 seconds, make sure that the CMPTR FAIL message no longer shows.
(g) (h) (i) (j) Release the ERASE switch.Push and release the TEST switch to go out of the test mode.After 2 minutes, push and release the TEST switch again.Make sure that the CMPTR FAIL messages do not show.
