B. Procedure
S 864-003
(1) Open these circuit breakers on the overhead panel P11 and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
11J7, FLIGHT RECORDER AC
(b)
11J8, FLIGHT RECORDER DC

(2) Loosen the screws that hold the FDEP to the P61 panel.

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE
_______ FDEP. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FDEP.
(3)
Carefully move the FDEP out of the right side panel.
(4)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear of the FDEP.
(5)
Remove the FDEP from the right side panel.

(1) Make sure these P11 panel circuit breaker are open:
(a)
11J7, FLIGHT RECORDER AC
(b)
11J8, FLIGHT RECORDER DC

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE
_______ FDEP. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FDEP.
(2)
Connect the electrical connector to the rear of the FDEP.

(3)
Install the FDEP in the right side of the P61 panel.

(4)
Tighten the screws on the FDEP.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these P11 panel circuit breakers:

11J7, FLIGHT RECORDER AC
(b)
11J8, FLIGHT RECORDER DC
D. FDEP Test

(1)
Supply the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(2)
Make sure the SYSTEM indicator on the FDEP is on.
