WARNING: PREPARE THE SAFETY-SENSITIVE SYSTEMS FOR THE AIR MODE BEFORE
_______ YOU OPEN THE AIR/GROUND CIRCUIT BREAKERS. IN THE AIR MODE, MANY OF THE AIRPLANE SYSTEMS CAN OPERATE AND CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Prepare the safety-sensitive systems for air mode simulation (AMM 32-09-02/201).

(4) Open this P11 panel circuit breaker:
(a)
GUN 001-010, 051 POST-SB 78-32 OR SB 78-35;
GUN 101-104 POST-SB 78-32;
GUN 011-050, 052-100, 105-999;
11C19, LDG GEAR POS SYS 2 ALTN
(b)
11S23, LANDING GEAR POS SYS 2

(5) Set the left and right engine throttles fully forward to the takeoff position.
(a)
Make sure the red CONFIG light on the instrument panel is off.
(b)
Make sure the WARNING lights on the glareshield are off.
NOTE: Push one of the two switch-lights if they are on.

(6) Set the COMPUTER switch on the EICAS control panel to the L and then the R position.
(a) Make sure the EICAS message, GEAR NOT DOWN, does not show on the top display.

Make sure that the GND PROX/CONFIG GEAR OVRD switch is not set.
