B.  Loosen the screw on top of the rear track fitting. This loosens the plunger that attaches the studs to the aircraft seat tracks.
C. Push the seat assembly either forward or aft one-half inch and lift it off the aircraft seat tracks.
NOTE:  Track savers are recommended to protect the track fittings when the seat is removed from the aircraft. They can be ordered from B/E Aerospace.
3.  Disassembly Procedures
A.  Bottom Cushion and Seat Belt Removal
(Refer to IPL FIG 1)

(1)  
Remove the bottom cushion assemblies (15) by firmly pulling away from the hook-and- pile fastening on the seat diaphragm. Remove the bottom cover assembly (10) from the bottom cushion assemblies (15) by disengaging the hook-and-pile fastening.

(2)  
Remove the lap belt assemblies (20).

B.  Headrest and Back Dress Cover Removal
(Refer to IPL FIG 1)

(1)  Remove the headrest assemblies (30) by sliding the headrest upwards and releasing the latch. Remove the headrest cover assemblies (25) from the headrest assemblies
(30) by disengaging the hook-and-pile fastening.

B.  Headrest and Back Dress Cover Removal (Continued) (Refer to IPL FIG 1)
(2)  Remove the back cover assemblies (35) by disengaging the hook-and-pile fastening. Remove the lumbar cushion assemblies (40).
C. Disassembly of the Headrest Assembly (Refer to IPL FIG 2)
(1)  
Remove the ear assemblies (10,15) from the center body assembly (5) by
removing the bolt (20), washers (25, 30), washer /spacer (35), and nut (40).

(2)  
Remove the slide plate assembly (45) from the center body assembly (5) by         removing the bolt (50), washers (55, 60, 70), washer / spacer (65), and nut (75).

D. Back Assembly Removal (Refer to IPL FIG 3)
(1)  
Detach the seatpan assembly from the back frame / cushion assembly (5, -5A)
 (refer to paragraph G).

(2)  
Remove the control line from the hydrolok.

(3)  
Disconnect the hydrolok from the spreader assembly by removing the nuts (70)    
and washers (75).

(4)  
Detach the back frame / cushion assembly (5) from the spreader assembly, at the hydrolok side, by removing the bolt (10), washer (15), bushings (20, -20A, 25), washer / spacer (30), washer (35), and nut (40).

(5)  
Detach the back frame / cushion assembly (5) from the spreader assembly, at the non-hydrolok side, by removing the bolt (45), washer (50), bushings (55, -55A, 60), and washer / spacer (65).

(6)  
Carefully lift the back frame / cushion assembly (5) away from the seat assembly.

E.  Disassembly of the Back Assembly (Refer to IPL FIG 4)
