19) Remove the vinyl hoses.
20) Connect lines (5) and (6) to unions (7) and (8) - refer to 20-00-02.
21) Fill the landing gear hydraulic system - refer to 12-13-03.
22) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.
23) Install inspection door 238 (9) and the rear bench seatpan - refer to 25-12-00.
24) If connected, disconnect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00.
25) Lower the aircraft to ground and remove the jacks - refer to 07-10-00.
26) Install cowling under hull 218A.

SERVICING
1. LANDING GEAR HYDRAULIC SYSTEM DRAINAGE (Figures 301 and 301A)
A. Tools and consumable materials
- Drip pan
- Cleaning agent (TB 11-002)
- Stainless steel lockwire, dia. 0.02 in (0.6 mm)
- 1 cap AN820-4D
- 2 unions AN832-4D
- 4 vinyl hoses [length 19.7 in (500 mm) ; inner diameter 0.43 in (11 mm)]
- Ground power unit
B. Procedure
1) Remove the rear bench seatpan - refer to 25-12-00, and inspection door 238 - refer to 06-30-00.
2) Jack up the aircraft - refer to 07-10-00.
3) Remove the cowlings under hull 218A and 218F.
4) For the aircraft equipped with a ground power receptacle, connect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00.
5) Make sure the landing gears are extended and locked.
6) Open the "LDG GEAR" "pull-off' type circuit-breaker and pull the landing gear emergency control.
7) Install a drip pan under the electrohydraulic generator and disconnect LP line (1) and HP line (6).
8) Install two unions AN832-4D equiped with a vinyl hose on LP line (1) and HP line (6), and two vinyl hoses on LP outlet union (3) and HP outlet union (2).
Pre-MOD. 153 or Before repair
9) Cut the lockwire and remove screw (7). Remove washer (8) and 0-ring (9). Discard 0-ring (9). Post-MOD. 153 or After repair
9) Remove bolts (11), washers (12), thrust washer (10) and, if installed, flanges (13).
All
10) Remove reservoir (5) from the electrohydraulic generator.
11) Using a brush and cleaning agent (TB 11-002), clean reservoir (5) and the electrohydraulic generator supply strainers.
12) If necessary, replace reservoir (5) gasket.
13) Close main switch-breaker.
14) Close the "LDG GEAR" "pull-off" type circuit-breaker.
