22) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.
23) Install inspection door 238 (8) and the rear bench seatpan - refer to 25-12-00.
24) If connected, disconnect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00.
25) Lower the aircraft to ground and remove the jacks - refer to 07-10-00.
26) Install cowling under hull 218A.

LANDING GEAR HYDRAULIC SYSTEM DRAINAGE
SERVICING
1. LANDING GEAR HYDRAULIC SYSTEM DRAINAGE (Figure 301)
A. Tools and consumable materials
- Drip pan
- 4 vinyl hoses [length 19.7 in (500 mm) ; dia. 0.39 in (10 mm)]
- Ground power unit
B. Procedure
1) Remove the rear bench seatpan - refer to 25-12-00, and inspection door 238 (9) - refer to 06-30-00.
2) Unscrew air vent screw (1) of the electrohydraulic generator.
3) Jack up the aircraft - refer to 07-10-00.
4) Remove rear cowling under hull 218A.
5) For the aircraft equipped with a ground power receptacle, connect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00.
6) Make sure the landing gears are extended and locked.
7) Open the "LDG GEAR" "pull-off" type circuit-breaker and pull the landing gear emergency control.
8) Install a drip pan under the electrohydraulic generator and disconnect lines (5) and (6) from unions (7) and (8).
9) Connect the vinyl hoses to lines (5) and (6) and unions (7) and (8).
10) Close main switch-breaker.
11) Close the "LDG GEAR" "pull-off" type circuit-breaker.
CAUTION : DO NOT OPERATE THE PUMP MORE THAN 2 SECONDS AS IT IS THEORETICALLY EMPTY.
12) Operate the pump during 1 or 2 seconds.
13) Open the "LDG GEAR" "pull-off" type circuit-breaker and push back the landing gear emergency control.
14) Open main switch-breaker.
15) Unlock the nose landing gear using a screwdriver - refer to 32-30-04.
16) Manually operate the nose landing gear several times (without locking it) until fluid contained in the nose landing gear actuator is completely evacuated.
17) Unlock each main landing gear using a screwdriver - refer to 32-30-03.
18) Manually operate the main landing gears several times (without locking them) until fluid contained in the L.H. main landing gear actuator and the R.H. main landing gear actuator is completely evacuated. NOTE : To drain the system more efficiently, operate the three landing gears simultaneously.
