above the tape. The bug and the digital readout are magenta in color.
When the selected altitude is offscale, only half of the bug shows at the top or bottom of the altitude tape.
Altitude alert occurs when the airplane is 900 feet from the selected altitude. The white box around the current altitude digital readout shows as a highlight until the airplane is within 300 feet.
If the airplane deviates from the selected altitude by more than 300 feet, the box around the digital readout goes on and off with an amber color until the altitude is within 300 feet, or there is a reset.
Metric Altitude and Metric Selected Altitude
You select MTRS on the EFIS control panel to show barometric altitude in meters or feet. It shows as a digital value above the current altitude digital readout box with the letter M. The metric altitude is white in color, and the letter M is cyan.
The selected altitude in meters also shows above the altitude tape. The selected metric altitude is magenta in color, and the M is cyan.
Landing Altitude Indications
The current landing altitude indication shows as a hatched area on the altitude tape. It is amber in

color. It is calculated by the FMCS and shows when you put an active route in the CDU.
If you select QFE on the FMCS takeoff or approach reference pages, then the current landing altitude indication shows at 0 feet on the altitude tape.
The landing altitude reference bar shows from the current landing altitude up to 1000 feet. It is amber from the current landing altitude to 500 feet and white from 500 feet to 1000 feet.
Barometric Reference
You select barometric correction for the ADIRUs from the onside EFIS control panel, and it shows below the altitude tape. You can select it in inches of mercury (in Hg) or hecto Pascals (HPa). The reference display IN or HPA shows which reference is selected. The barometric correction readouts are green in color.
You use the STD button on the EFIS control panel to select standard barometric correction. When you select it, STD replaces the numerical correction readout. It is green in color.
The barometric correction annunciation shows in amber if standard is not selected on the EFIS control panel, and the airplane altitude is more than the transition altitude by 300 feet. As the airplane does a descent through the transition altitude by more than 300 feet, the barometric correction shows in amber if standard stays selected.

If you select QFE on the FMCS takeoff or approach reference pages, then the QFE annunciation shows to the right of the barometric correction readout. The annunciation has a highlight with a green box for 10 seconds.
Selected Barometric Minimums
You select the barometric minimums setting from the onside EFIS control panel. The bug and the line point to the selected barometric minimum value on the altitude tape. The BARO legend and digital readout show below the attitude indication display. They are green in color. You can set barometric minimums from -100 feet to a maximum of 15000 feet in 1 foot increments.
When the airplane does a descent to the barometric minimums altitude, these go on and off in an amber color for three seconds and then stay on steady amber until a reset is done:
-BARO legend
-Digital readout
-Minimums bug
-Line.
These can do a reset of the barometric minimums alert:
-The airplane does an ascent above the minimums -Selection of the reset (RST) button on the EFIS control panel -The airplane lands.
