The DEUs use this data to show the TCAS traffic on the navigation displays (NDs) and resolution advisories on the attitude indicators (AIs). TCAS system messages also show on the NDs.
The DEUs send resolution advisory (RA) display status to TCAS as an analog discrete. A valid shows by a ground on this discrete.
Radio Altimeter Receiver/Transmitter
The RA transceivers send radio altitude data to both DEUs on ARINC 429 buses. The DEUs use this data to show radio altitude on the flight displays.

Automatic Direction Finder Receivers
The ADF receivers send this data to both DEUs on ARINC 429 buses:
-ADF frequency
-Station identifier
-Bearing data.
The DEUs use this data to show the ADF bearing pointers and source information on the NDs.

CDS -- INDICATING AND RECORDING INTERFACES
Data Loader Control Panel -
-The data loader control panel sends information to the -display electronic units (DEU) from the airborne data -loader (ADL). Software can be uploaded to the DEUs in -this manner. -
-The control panel also receives data from the DEUs on -the DFDAU bus. This function is used to download fault -history from the DEUs -
-A function discrete from the data loader is switched -through the data loader control panel to the DEUs. This -ground discrete is the load enable signal to the DEUs. -
-Flight Data Acquisition Unit -
-The flight data acquisition unit (FDAU) sends data to -and receives data from the display electronic units -(DEU) on ARINC 429 buses. The FDAU sends this surface -position data to the DEUs: -
--Stabilizer position --Control column position --Control wheel position --Rudder pedal position --Elevator position (left and right) --Aileron position (left and right) --Speedbrake handle position --Rudder position. -
