CDS -- EFIS CONTROL PANEL You push the switch again to remove the metric displays.
Barometric Controls
The barometric controls select and set the barometric reference. These are the barometric controls:
- Barometric reference selector 
- Barometric selector 
- Barometric standard switch. 

The outer control is the barometric reference selector. It selects inches of mercury (IN) or hectopascals (hPa) as the barometric reference. The middle control is the barometric selector, and it sets the barometric correction value. The inner control is the barometric standard switch. It selects the standard baro setting of 29.92 inches Hg or 1013 hPa.
VOR/ADF Switches
The VOR/ADF switches are three position toggle type switches. The switch lets you show the VOR or ADF bearing pointers on the navigation display. The bearing pointers show in all modes except PLAN.
Mode Controls
The mode controls select the mode that shows on the ND. The mode controls have the mode selector and the center (CTR) switch. The mode selector is a four position switch. These are the four positions:

- APP 
- VOR 
- MAP 
- PLN. 

The CTR switch is a momentary action pushbutton switch. The switch selects the expanded or centered display for VOR, APP, and MAP modes.
Range Selector
The range selector is an eight position selector. The selector controls the range that shows in the MAP and PLAN modes. This selector also controls the weather radar range, EGPWS terrain range, and TCAS range in all modes.
Traffic Switch
The traffic (TFC) switch enables the onside navigation display (ND) so that TCAS traffic shows.
Weather Radar Switch
The WXR switch operates the weather radar and lets the weather radar data show in these modes:
-Expanded approach
-Expanded VOR
-Expanded map
-Centered map.

Terrain Switch The DISPLAYS CONTROL PANEL message also shows on the
bottom right of the onside primary flight display The TERR switch enables the enhanced ground proximity (PFD). warning function, and terrain data shows on the ND. Terrain data shows in these modes:
-Expanded approach
-Expanded VOR
-Expanded map
-Centered map.

Map Switches
The map switches let you show other map data in the MAP mode. These are the map switches:
-STA - for navigation aids not in the active route
-WPT - for waypoints not in the active route
-ARPT - for airports not in the active route
-DATA - for altitude and ETA of route waypoints
-POS - for position comparison data.

Control Panel Failure
If a control panel has a failure, the onside navigation display changes to a default display. These are the changes on the default display:
-The VOR and ADF selections stay the same
-All map switches are off and do not operate
-The expanded map mode shows
-A range of 40 miles shows
-The weather radar comes on (in the air only).

The engine display control panel has:
-N1 set selector
-Speed reference set selector
-Fuel flow/fuel used switch
-Multi-function display switches.

N1 Set Selector
The N1 set selector sets the N1 reference bug on the primary engine display. It has two controls.
The outer selector has these functions:
-AUTO - the FMCS supplies the N1 reference -Both - sets the N1 reference for the two engines manually -1 or 2 - sets the N1 reference for engine 1 or engine 2 manually.
The inner control sets the N1 reference value.
Speed Reference Selector
The speed reference selector sets the takeoff or landing reference speeds on the airspeed indication. It has two controls.
The outer selector has these functions:

-Auto - the FMCS supplies the reference airspeeds
and gross weight
-V1 - shows the takeoff decision speed
-VR - shows the takeoff rotation speed
-WT - the pilot can set the gross weight manually
