(2) S 034-017Remove the caps from the hydraulic lines.
(3) S 434-018Put the servo in position and install the bolts (7) and the washers (6) by hand.
(4) S 434-019Connect the hydraulic lines and tighten the fittings by hand.
(5) S 434-020Tighten the servo bolts (7).
(6) S 434-021Tighten the hydraulic line fittings.
(7) S 434-022Install the jamnut (13) onto the rod end on the servo output crank.
(8) S 434-023Adjust the rod end on the autopilot crank end of the control rod to 1.34 to 1.36 inches. Refer to Fig. 401, item C. (a) Tighten the jamnut.
(9) S 434-024Put the control rod assembly (5) onto the servo output crank rod end.
S 824-025
(10) Adjust the output crank end of the control rod nominal length to
1.34 to 1.36 inches.
NOTE: The nominal length is used to reduce the amount of adjustment
____ required to adjust the servo to null.
(a) Tighten the jamnut (13).
