WARNING: MAKE SURE PERSONNEL STAY A MINIMUM OF 6 FEET AWAY FROM THE
_______ VERTICAL STABILIZER WHEN THE HF SYSTEM TRANSMITS. RF ENERGY FROM THE HF COMMUNICATION ANTENNA CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONNEL.

Make sure the HF system does not transmit.

Remove the covers from the openings and clean the mating surfaces of the valve, the gasket plate and servo assembly with clean hydraulic fluid. Do not allow the hydraulic fluid to go into the electrical connector.

Install the new gasket plate on the servo unit.

Lubricate the new O-ring with BMS 3-11 and install it.

(5)
Install the valve assembly with the mounting bolts and the
washer/spacer.
NOTE: The countersink on the washer/spacer must be towards the

bolthead.

(6) Set the torque wrench to 50-70 pound-inches.
