(1) Open this circuit breaker on the overhead circuit breaker panel, P11, and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) 11F15, TMC DC

Remove the thrust lever knob.

Remove the heat-shrink tubing from the wire terminals.

Remove the screw-attached wires from the disengage switch.
(5)
Remove the disengage switch.

Remove all of the remaining locktite from the thrust lever threads.

Apply new locktite to the disengage switch threads.

Apply the heat-shrink tubing to the wire terminals (heat shrink after the wires are installed).

Use the screws supplied with the switch to install the wires on the switch.

Heat shrink the heat-shrink tubing.

Install the thrust lever knob on the thrust lever.
E. Do a Test of the Disengage Switch

(3) S 864-017Make sure these circuit breakers on the P11 panel are closed: (a) 11F14, TMC AC (b) 11F16, TMC SERVO
(4) S 714-018Do the MCDP Ground Test 12 SW A/T DISC (Ref 22-00-02).
(5) S 864-019Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00).
