Remove pressure from the L, C, and R hydraulic system (Ref
 29-11-00).

Move the control wheels to center and attach DO-NOT-OPERATE tags.

Install the rig pins if they are not installed (Fig. 401)
 (Ref 20-10-24).
 F. Install the Aileron Control Force Transducer (Fig. 402)

Wind the force transducer wire bundle with SPI RAP (View D) (Ref 20-30-07).

Attach green tape to mark the clamp positions (View D).

Install the end of the transducer that is not adjustable with the bolt, the clamp up spacer, the washer, and the nut (View C).
 (a)  Tighten the nut to 20 pound-inches above the run-on torque.

 (4)  Insert the shims in the lost motion device to get a gap of
 0.065 |0.001 inch on each side of the shaft (View A-A).
 NOTE: Remove the primer from the parts that cause the gap if it is

 on the parts.
