Do the procedure for electrostatic discharge sensitive devices (Ref 20-41-01).

Install the MCDP (Ref 20-10-01).
NOTE: Do not move the MCDP directly from a different airplane.
____ Only shop procedures can erase flight data on the MCDP. The MCDP can keep flight data for many flights. Make sure that all flight data is erased, unless the MCDP will be installed on the same airplane.

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00).

Push the ON/OFF switch for a manual power-up and self-test.
