(1) Operate the control wheel trim switches to put the stabilizer to approximately four units of trim.

Do the deactivation procedure for the spoilers (Ref 27-61-00) or move all persons and equipment away from the spoiler panels.

Open these circuit breakers on the P11 panel and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

11G17, CSEU 1R AC
or
FLT CONT ELEC 1R AC
(b)
11G27, CSEU 2R AC
or
FLT CONT ELEC 2R AC

Put the R STAB TRIM switch in the CUT OUT position.

Make sure that the yellow STAB TRIM light on the overhead panel, P5, and the STAB TRIM message on the upper EICAS display unit are out.

Put the computer selector switch on the EICAS display select panel in the R position.
