SET A/T SW TO ARM  PUT A/T SWITCH IN ARM POSTION WITHIN 3 MINUTES
SET A/T SW TO OFF  RELEASE A/T SWITCH PUSH ENGAGE
PUSH FLASHING A/T  IGNORE THIS MESSAGE
WARN ANN RESET PUSH ENGAGE
The ability of the autothrottle to engage in the ‘ARM’ position, when the PDC mode selector switch is in the “TO” mode and required parameters have been entered, shows that there is a good AFDS/AT interface.
