26. Prepare for BITE Data Readout Presentation
A. The operation of BITE provides diagnostic information to the LRU level. A detailed check is provided for checking faults to the logic bits and analog signals. This feature is enabled after BITE initialization by pressing CLR, selecting numerals 100 then pressing ENT. The PDU CDU lower line will display the value of the specific test involved.
B. The following table provides the BITE TEST RESULTS in the same sequence as GROUND FUNCTIONAL TEST. NOTES on the charts refer to FCC connector and pins which are involved in the specific test or information on the signals involved. References are also provided for any observations which may be helpful in fault isolation. The description lists the specific type of test involved and provides listing of digital word and BIT which is involved.
C. Use of test data should assist in system trouble shooting specifically for problems indicated for more than one LRU or involving inter system problems. The data provides the technician with added trouble shooting tools to enable more knowledgeable fault isolation in the most expeditious manner. The system will exit the test data made by pressing ENT on PDC CDU when the test requires a ENG (GO) signal to continue.
