(d) Remove the cooling-fan discharge-duct (Ref. AMM TASK 49-52-51-000-001) and examine if there is oil contamination inside the duct. If there is oil contamination inside cooling-fan discharge duct and the inside of the APU inlet plenum is clean:
- do a further inspection of the cooling fan.
(e) If there is oil leakage in the area of the oil cooler:
- replace the seals at the connectors and the interface between the oil cooler and the thermal by-pass valve, and/or the OIL COOLER (8079KM) (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-44-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-44-400-001), and/or the THERMAL BY-PASS VALVE (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-44-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-44-400-002), as necessary.
(f) If there is oil in the scupper of the gravity fill port or the scupper is wet from oil:
NOTE : It is possible that the oil scupper was not made dry
____ correctly after the last oil servicing and the oil which was filled in too much has stayed in the scupper.
- if the oil level in the oil reservoir is above the FULL mark on the oil sight glass, correct it with the overflow drain tool (Ref. AMM TASK 49-90-00-600-001).
- make sure that the oil filler cap and the seal are the correct condition and replace them if necessary,
- make sure that the packings of the oil scupper seal correctly and replace them if necessary.
(g) If the couplings of the pressure fill and overflow ports are not tight:
- replace the couplings as necessary.

(h) If there is oil leakage in the area of the oil pump assy:
- replace the seals and or the OIL PUMP ASSY (8080KM) as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-45-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-45-400-001).
(i) If there is oil leakage in the area of the APU generator:
- replace the SEALING PLATE and/or the APU GENERATOR (8XS) (Ref. AMM TASK 24-23-51-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 24-23-51-400-001), as necessary.
(j) If there is oil leakage in the area of the lupe pump filter and/or the generator scavenge filter:
- replace the packing of the related filter housing (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-41-200-001) and/or (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-45-200-002).
(k) If there is oil leakage at the magnetic chip detector:
- replace the packing of the magnetic chip detector (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-42-200-001).
(l) If there is oil leakage at the oil-sump drain-plug housing:
- replace the packing of the drain plug housing (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-42-400-001).
(m) If there is oil leakage at the turbine bearing oil-pressure and -scavenge fitting (6 o'clock pos.):
- replace the scavange tube packing of the adapter assy; or
- replace the pressure tube packing of the adapter assy; or
- replace the packing of the adapter assy (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-53-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-53-400-001).
(n) If there is oil leakage at the turbine-bearing vent-tube assembly:
- replace the packing of the vent-fitting elbow; or
- replace the packing between the check valve and the vent-fitting elbow; or
- replace the packing between the vent tube and the check valve.
(o) If there is oil leakage at the oil level switch/gearbox interface:
- replace the packing of the oil level switch (Ref. AMM TASK 49-93-16-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 49-93-16-400-001).
(p) If there is oil leakage at the de-oil solenoid/gearbox interface:
- replace the packing of the de-oil solenoid (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-49-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 49-91-49-400-001).

(q) If there is oil leakage at the oil pressure/temperature assembly:
- replace the packing of the oil temperature switch/mount block interface; or
- replace the packing of the oil pressure/mount block interface; or
- replace the oil pressure/temperature assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 49-94-00-000-003) and (Ref. AMM TASK 49-94-00-400-001).
(r) If there is oil leakage at the gearbox regulator-valve assembly:
- replace the packing of the tranfer tubes; or
